A local institution for a problem too often treated as distant.
Human trafficking does not belong to another place. OATH is being built in South Florida to bring sustained attention, credible partners, and long-term support to the work this region requires.
The problem is local
South Florida’s scale, mobility, tourism economy, and international connections make coordination essential. The people affected are not abstractions; they are members of communities that deserve responses grounded in dignity and care.
OATH will not use shock imagery or unsupported prevalence claims to earn attention. Credibility begins with careful language, verified evidence, and respect for survivors.
Coordination is the work
No single organization can address trafficking alone. Durable progress depends on trusted relationships among practitioners, public institutions, employers, donors, and neighbors.
OATH’s role is to help organize that commitment: convening people with the capacity to act, directing support responsibly, and keeping the work visible after the first event is over.
Built to stay
Our first public gathering is an invitation-only gala in October 2026. It is a beginning, not the mission itself. The standard is what follows: responsible stewardship, clear communication, and sustained local participation.
